You can choose what type of data you want to synchronize with the server by choosing folders in the TouchDown Settings. The Choose Folders option in TouchDown allows you to select item types that you want to synchronize and deselect items types that you do not want to synchronize.
For example, if you do not wish to synchronize tasks, you can deselect the Tasks folder.

1. From the TouchDown main screen, tap the Settings icon. 2. Tap the Advanced tab at the top of the screen. 3. Scroll down to the Selected Email Folders box. This display includes all mail folders selected for synchronization on the server, as well as calendar, contact (address books), and task folders. 4. To choose other available folders, click the Choose Folders button beneath the display. Each available folder appears with an icon next to it. The icon appears in color if it is selected and in black and white if it is not selected. Select the folders you wish to add to the Selected Email Folders list.
