Obtain your copy of the TouchDownTM device client from the NotifyLink portal page (see link listed below in step 1).
If you have NotifyLink Enterprise Server v4.6.2, Update 14-16, you must also have a TouchDown license key*. Consult your NotifyLink administrator. You will use the license key to activate your copy of the TouchDown device client software. (You may also use the TouchDown copy on a trial basis for up to 30 days.) *Note: NotifyLink Enterprise Server v4.6.2, Update 17 or greater does not require users to enter a key to activate devices.
If you have a version of TouchDown that you did not obtain from Notify Technology
If you have a version of TouchDown on your device that you obtained from another source, you must remove it and download the edition provided on the NotifyLink portal.
To remove TouchDown from your device:
• From the device Home screen, select Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
• Select TouchDown, then tap Uninstall
Check your Android operating system version
Also, check the operating system version of your device. This determines which edition of TouchDown you will need to download. From the device Home screen, tap Settings > About Phone and scroll to Firmware version.
Make sure that you are in an area of good data coverage before you begin downloading the TouchDown application.

Android OS 2.0/2.1 The download will begin and display a progression bar. From the download history screen select the TouchDown application, then tap the Install button. |

Step 2: TouchDown will install in a few seconds. When it is complete, a notification screen displays.
Tap the Open button to open TouchDown.

Step 3: Tap I Accept to accept the End User License Agreement and confirm your acceptance.
Note: If you are interfacing with NotifyLink Enterprise Server v4.6.2, Update 17 or greater, this completes your activation. Users on NotifyLink Enterprise Servers that have not yet been updated with Patch 17 must complete Step 4 below. |

Enter the TouchDown license purchased from Notify in the serial number field. |
Step 4: You do not need to enter a license number and therefore may skip this step if you are interfacing with NotifyLink Enterprise Server v4.6.2, Update 17 or greater.
You can use a copy of TouchDown for a 30 day trial period‡ or activate the product by entering the license number you have obtained from Notify Technology.* To activate: a. From the TouchDown Home screen, tap the shopping cart icon and select the ‘I have a serial number’ option. b. Enter the TouchDown license key you obtained from Notify in the Serial Number field. * Note: If you have a license from a previous purchase of TouchDown, you may use it to activate the edition you download from NotifyLink. • If you have a license you purchased from the Market, select the ‘I have the License installed from Market’ option, and follow the prompts. • If you have a serial number you obtained from www.nitrodesk.com, select the ‘I have a serial number’ option and enter it in the Serial Number field.

use TouchDown on a trial basis you will be unable to change the signature
