Once you have installed NotifyLink and registered your device against the NotifyLink Enterprise Server, you will want to explore the various settings that the application offers and choose preferences that will govern how your mail and PIM data (calendar, contacts, and tasks) synchronize to the device.

Most of the NotifyLink Preferences are accessed through the NotifyLink application. Select the NotifyLink icon from the device Home screen. Then, from the message list menu, select Preferences.
The BlackBerry device’s Profiles application also has settings that allow you to customize the alert behavior for incoming NotifyLink Email and PIM items notifications. |
Using these customization tools, you can:

View the server address, license key, and user account information |

Check NotifyLink software updates and perform upgrades. |

Set conditions for automatic deletion of email in the device Inbox and custom folder(s). |

View device statistics |

Customize the look of your message list display screen |

Configure settings for composing and receiving email; Create an email signature |

Set the device to send a list of the files on your device to the server on a regular basis. |

Select settings for folders and mail |
|
|
Enable log settings for the purpose of troubleshooting – at the direction of a Technical Support representative |

Select a default network type or select Auto Detect and specify/prioritize which network types to use. |

|
Choose which item types trigger a notification alert |
|
|
Choose which types(s) of PIM items to synchronize to the server. |
|
|
Choose the network with which the device connects and how often to connect for synchronization |
|
|
Set encryption keys, emergency call settings, passwords, and lock options for your device |
|
User Assistance Press the menu button and choose Show Help.
