Downloading, Viewing, and Saving Attachments

Attachments associated with email messages are available for download to a device.  Messages that contain attachments display a paperclip icon on the message list.

When the message is open, the attachments are listed above the Subject field.  The name of the attachment and its estimated size are displayed.

Sample Attachment Display:
Purchase Requisition Form.xls   (0K/26K)

(0K/26K) = (downloaded data / estimated file size)
0K indicates that the attachment has not yet been downloaded.

Download and Open the Attachment

1.  Open the message, highlight the attachment you wish to download, and select Retrieve from the menu.  The attachment will begin to download as long as the device has an application installed that supports and can open the file type.  A progress bar displays while the attachment is downloading.

NOTE:  If the message is an HTML email with images and you have the Automatic Image Download option enabled in the Email Settings, a progress bar will also appear as images download.
