Methods of Installation There are two methods of installing the NotifyLink Device Application on a BlackBerry device.
Over The Air (OTA) - Use the device alone and install over-the-air (recommended) or
Wired - Use your computer workstation with the device connected through a cradle or USB cable.
Wired installation requires that you first download onto your computer workstation:
• BlackBerry Desktop Manager software v3.6.0.43 or higher
• BlackBerry System Software
The BlackBerry System Software must then be installed onto your device before you download and install NotifyLink.
Localization

The NotifyLink Client product has been adapted to accommodate French, German, Italian and Spanish language settings in addition to the original English (US).
New Installations: Set the device to the language of your choice prior to installation. Doing so will ensure a more complete language conversion. The language setting can be changed at any time, but if done after installation the language conversion will be only 90-95% complete.
Upgrades: When upgrading NotifyLink on a device set to a language other than English (US), it is best to remove the NotifyLink version (those prior to 4.6.0) you are currently using along with the NotifyLink data files. This must be done to ensure full conversion from English to one of the languages supported by the NotifyLink software (French/German/Italian/Spanish). Once you have performed the removal, install the new NotifyLink version and perform PIM loads to pull current calendar, contact, and task data down from the server. (Restored data from device backups would not undergo a full language conversion.)
