Sending Attachments

To include an attachment with your email message select Add Attachment from the menu when composing a message.  Choose a file from the device browse list and select Open.

1.  Select Add Attachment from the menu when composing a message. 

2.  Choose the location from which you will select the attachment.  Select:

a.  Contact – to attach a contact from the address book

b.  Device - to attach a file from the native device file system (including pictures stored by the device camera) or a file on the SD Card (if equipped).

Note:  If selecting an attachment from the native device file system, select Device, then choose the file path /store/home/user/.  You may select attachments from directories containing documents, pictures, music, etc.  (The picture directory is where the device’s camera stores pictures.)

Device’s native file system

 

Select Device from the popup dialog and navigate through the device’s native file system to locate your attachment.

Follow the file path /store/home/user/ You may select attachments from directories containing documents, pictures, music, ringtones, etc.  (The picture directory is where the device’s camera stores pictures.)

or

Select Device and navigate to the SD Card folder to locate a file on a memory card.

Address Book

Contacts (Vcards) can be selected from the address book and added to new messages as attachments. 

Select Contact from the popup dialog and navigate through the address book to locate the contact you want to attach.  Any contact (VCard) with a file extension of .vcf can be sent as an attachment or imported into your address book.

.jpg, .gif, .png

Device’s native file system

Select Device from the popup dialog and navigate through the device’s native file system to locate your attachment.
