SSL is a security protocol developed for transmitting
private information over the Internet.
Your system must be set up
properly in order to use SSL.
An SSL certificate must be installed on the server where the NotifyLink Web Component resides in order for you to use SSL. Check with your IT administrator to determine if this feature is available to you.
SSL is available to NotifyLink On Demand users, as all On Demand servers are equipped with SSL certificates.
To Use SSL…
1. Complete the NotifyLink registration process on your device.
2. From the Home screen select NotifyLink.
3. From the menu select Preferences > Account Settings.
4. Select the “Use SSL” checkbox under the Server Address field.
