1. From the calendar menu, select New.
2. Enter the information for any or all of the optional fields or accept the defaults (in bold).
NOTE: If there is a scheduling conflict, a message will display on the New Appointment screen indicating that this time conflicts with another appointment.

Reminder: |
Enter amount of time prior to an event for a reminder to occur. Choose from number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks. Defaults to 15 minutes. Default can be changed through Options. |

Recurrence: |
Choose frequency if it is a recurring appointment: None, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly. Default is None. |
|
Mark as Private: |
Check the box to mark as private. |
3. Select Save from the menu.
