Supported PIM Fields

PIM items (calendar events, contacts, tasks, and memos) synchronized to the device contain supported and unsupported fields.

Supported fields can be added to, changed on, or deleted from a PIM item via the device.

Unsupported fields cannot be added, updated, or deleted via the device. However, unsupported fields that come down from the server are stored in mirrored PIM databases. Thus, when a PIM item is updated on the device, all unsupported fields are preserved and synced back to the server.
