Installing NotifySync Software Updates

 

Download, Install, and Check for Updates

Use the Notify BlackBerry Installer to download and install the latest NotifySync software updates over-the-air. 
You can also use the Installer to check for software updates. 

 

Automatic Check for Software Updates

The Notify BlackBerry Installer checks the Notify server for updates every 24 hours.  When the Installer detects available product updates, it will display the application list.  Products available for download will be check marked.  In addition, the Notify BlackBerry Installer icon will contain a numeral indicating the number of available updates (1, 2, 3, or 3+) and the application name will also display the number of available updates. These indicators will continue to appear as reminders until you install the software update(s).

Hint:  It is also good practice to update your BlackBerry operating system version on a regular basis, since the OS update may unlock additional NotifySync functionality that is compatible with newer operating systems.

 

1.  Open the Notify BlackBerry Installer by clicking on the Installer icon.  The Installer will automatically initiate a check for updates and place check marks next to the applications for which updates are available.
2.  If there are software updates available, select the Continue button to begin the download/installation process. Note:  If you wish to manually initiate a check, select the Check for Updates button.
