Compose New Messages

1.  Select the Compose button at the bottom of the message list screen.

Reply, Reply All, Forward Composition Screen

 

Button Options:

Cancels the message. If changes have been made, it will prompt you to save the message to the Drafts folder.

Sends the message.

Saves the message in the drafts folder.

Attaches files to the message.

Opens the quick text screen.

 

2.  Enter the following fields.  Use the jog dial arrows or a stylus to move through the fields.

Hint:  Access the address book from the Compose screen by selecting the q next to the To:/CC:/BCC: fields.  See Entering and Looking Up Recipients below for more information.

To: q

Enter the address of your intended recipient manually or use the q to lookup a recipient’s address in your contact list.  Separate multiple addresses with a comma.

CC: q

‘Carbon Copy’ recipient.  Enter an address or use the q to lookup a recipient.

BCC: q

‘Blind Carbon Copy’ recipient.  Enter an address or use the q to lookup a recipient.

Subject:

The subject of your email.

 

3.  Type the body of your email. 
You can also insert text into the body from the quick text screen.

 

4.  From the button options, select:

Save

Send

Save stores the message in the Drafts folder.

Send sends the message.  Sent messages go to the Outbox where they wait to be processed.
