Lock Settings

Lock Settings give you the ability to password protect the device, set the length of the password timeout interval, and set a message that will display when the device is locked.

 

1.  Select the NotifyLink icon from the Home screen.

2.  From the Options drop-down list, select Preferences > Security Settings > Lock Settings.

3.  Enter a Lock Password.  This is the password you will enter to get past the device lock.  Note that the password is case sensitive.

4.  Check the box beside Lock Enabled to activate the device password protection.  Leave unchecked to disable password protection.

5.  Enter the Lock Timeout.  This is the number of minutes of inactivity before the device is locked.

6.  Enter the Lock Message.  This is the message that will display on the prompt to enter the lock password when the device is locked.  Select the Lock Msg button to make changes to the message.

7.  Select Save to save the changes.
