If there are public address books on the server and the server is set up correctly, Remote Lookup will allow you to search through the public address book and add contacts from it to the device contact list.
Search the Remote Address Books
1. Select the NotifyLink icon from the Palm Home screen.
2. Tap the title bar or use the menu key to access the drop down menus and select Remote Lookup from the PIM menu. The last list you queried will display, unless it was cleared.
3. Select the Query button to search the remote public address book.
4. Enter the First Name and/or the Last Name of the contact for which you are searching. You can use a partial string of characters in either search field.
5. Select the Submit button.
The Search Results
• View the details of a name on the search results list by tapping the name you wish to view or use the 5-way navigation key to highlight and select a name.
• View the rest of a large list by selecting the More button if it appears.
• Add a name to your address book from the search results: Place a checkmark beside a name and select Save from the Options drop-down menu. Select Save All to save all the results.
• Clear the results list by selecting Clear List from the Options drop-down menu.
