Requirements for Wired Download
• Install Palm HotSync® software on your computer workstation prior to installing the NotifyLink software.
• Set up the Palm HotSync® profile to use with the Palm device.
• You will need a network connection on your device to finish the installation.
NOTE: DO NOT use Palm HotSync® for synchronizing Email and PIM. Once installed, the NotifyLink application handles all Email and PIM synchronization.
Wired Download Instructions
Backup your device before you begin. If your device contains information such as Contacts, Calendar events, Tasks, or messages that you do not wish to lose, backup your device before you begin the installation process.
1. Cradle/cable your device.
2. Open a browser on the your computer workstation and browse to http://notifylink.notify.net/ota.asp
3. Choose Palm OS Based Devices and click Open on the File Download dialog box. The file to be downloaded, nlinstall.prc, is displayed. Click OK.
4. Press the HotSync button on your device and wait for the download to complete.
