Attaching a File

Attaching From the Compose Message Screen

Files selected from the device’s memory will be attached in their native format.  Files selected from a memory card will be attached in their current format with their current name and extension.

1.  Select Options > Attachments from the Compose screen. The Attachments list displays.  It will say “[no data]” if you have not selected attachments yet.

2.  Select Options > Add. 

•      Select a file from the device file system.  Select Phone Memory, then the folder in which the file is stored. Highlight the file you want and press Select.  The Attachments screen will display the file you have chosen. 

•      Select a file from a memory card.  If a memory card is being used, select the card, then highlight and select a file to attach.

Repeat to attach another file or select Options > Remove to remove an attachment from the list.

 

3.  Select Back to return to the Compose message screen.  The names of the attached files displays below the body of the message .
