Lock Settings give you the ability to activate a variety of lock features for the NotifyLink application. These features can automatically secure the NotifyLink application in the event that your device is lost or stolen.
These locks affect the NotifyLink application only. When a lock is initiated, you can still access your device, but to unlock the NotifyLink application, you must enter the password you define in Password Settings.
1. From the main NotifyLink menu, select Settings > Security Settings.
2. Type the current lock password and press the scroll key to enter.
3. Select Lock Settings.

EX: If lock password is “guarddog”, the duress password is “uarddogg”. A high priority Email notification is sent to the specified Duress Recipient with the Subject: “NotifyLink Duress Notification.” The notification is completely hidden from view.
