Setting Your Notification Format

You must complete this from the NotifyLink Client Web

Notification Format allows you to determine what appears in the header and body of the messages sent from the server.  You must be granted access to this setting by an administrator and can access it from the NotifyLink Client Web.

 

1.  From the Client Web, select General > Format.

2.  Place a check in the boxes beside the information you want included on email messages sent to the device.

Special Considerations

Sender Name/Address

Displays even if unchecked.

Subject

None

Date

If checked, time on message is the time it was received on the Mail Server.

Time

If checked, time on message is the time it was received on the Mail Server.

Remaining Characters

Shown if entire email body did not fit in the notification.  You can request MORE or ALL of the email to be sent.  The screen will display as much text as memory will allow.

Recipient Type

Indicates the type of recipient you are.

List of Recipients

Lists To: and Cc: in addition to From:  Scroll above the From: field or select View Recipients from the menu.

Attachments

Attachments are displayed at the end of the message body.

3.  Select Apply Changes.

4.  Selecting the Notification Body Format button allows you to modify the initial notification body size (1 – 30K) and the size of subsequent viewing pages, if the body is larger than 30K.

5.  Select Apply Changes and then Close to exit the Notification Body Format screen.

6.  Select Close again to exit the Notification Format settings.
