SSL is a protocol developed for transmitting private
information over the Internet.
Your system must be set up properly in
order to use SSL.
An SSL certificate must be installed on your web server in order for you to use SSL. Check with your IT administrator to determine if this feature is available to you.
SSL is available to NotifyLink On Demand users carrying Symbian devices, as all On Demand servers are equipped with SSL certificates.
To Use SSL…
1. Complete the NotifyLink registration process on your device.
2. From the main NotifyLink menu, select Settings > Account Settings.
3. Scroll to the “Server SSL” dialog box and answer Yes to enable SSL security.
