Compose a New Message

 

 

Reply to a Message

 

1.  Select New from the task bar on any Email folder screen.

2.  Enter the following fields:

Field

Action

To:

Enter the address of your intended recipient manually or select from your address book.  Separate multiple addresses with a semicolon.

CC:

View the ‘Carbon Copy’ field by scrolling up.  Enter the address(es) of the additional recipient(s) to which you would like the Email sent.

BCC:

View the ‘Blind Carbon Copy’ field by scrolling up.  Enter the address(es) of the additional recipient(s) to which you would like the Email sent.

Subject:

The subject of your Email.

 

3.  Type the body of your Email message.

 

4.  To include an attachment, select Menu > Insert > File and choose a file to attach.  See more on attachments below.

 

5.  Select Menu > Save to Drafts to work on and/or send the message later.  Saved messages are stored in the Drafts folder.  Closing the screen without clicking send will also put the message in the Drafts folder.

OR

Select Send to send the message now.  Sent messages go to the Outbox where they wait to be processed.

 

Menu Options 

The following options are available through the task bar or the Menu option:

Option

Description

Send

Sends the message to the Outbox where it waits to be processed.  Once it is sent it moves to the Sent Items folder.

Add Recipient

Select this to go to the Contact screen to look up or add a contact.  Option available when you are in the To:, CC:, or BCC: fields.

Insert

Allows you to add a file attachment to the message.

Save to Drafts

Saves the message in the Drafts folder allowing you to work on and/or send the message later.

Cancel Message

Cancels the message and returns you to the Email folder list.

Message Options

Set message priority and message language.
