Installing NotifyLink

 

There are two methods of installing the NotifyLink Device Application on a Windows Mobile device.  You may use the device and install over-the-air (recommended) or you may use your computer workstation with the device cradled.

The NotifyLink Client product has been adapted to accommodate French, German, Italian and Spanish language settings in addition to the original English (US).

New Installations:  Set the device to the language of your choice prior to installation.  Doing so will ensure a more complete language conversion.  The language setting can be changed at any time, but if done after installation the language conversion will be only 90-95% complete. 

Upgrades:  When upgrading NotifyLink on a device set to a language other than English (US), it is best to uninstall the NotifyLink version you are currently using (those prior to 4.6.1), then reinstall the new version.  For 100% language conversion, install the new software, then perform PIM loads to pull down current calendar, contact, and task data from the server.  (Restored data from device backups would not undergo a full language conversion.)
