PIM Cleanup allows you to set conditions for automatic deletion of expired calendar events and/or completed tasks. You can also perform an immediate cleanup of PIM items by using the Run Now feature. PIM items selected for cleanup are permanently deleted from the device.
NOTE: The cleanup routine deletes local PIM only and does not affect PIM on the server.
1. Select Start > Programs (PPC) > NotifyLink Preferences
2. Select Cleanup Settings > PIM Cleanup.
3. Choose the Type of the PIM cleanup: None / Daily / Weekly / Monthly.

Keeps a month’s worth of calendar events and tasks. Automatic cleanup will occur daily for PIM items over one month old. (EX: Cleanup performed at 7 am on May 9th cleans up calendar events / task completed prior to 7am on April 9th.) |
4. In the Run at: field, enter the time of day the device should run the PIM cleanup procedure.
5. If you want expired calendar events included in the cleanup, check the box beside the Cleanup Calendar option. If you want completed tasks included in the cleanup, check the box beside the Cleanup Completed Tasks option.
NOTE: If you do NOT check either of the options PIM Cleanup will not be performed.
6. Select Done to exit and allow the cleanup to occur according to the settings or Run Now to perform the cleanup now.
