Lock Settings give you the ability to set security lock parameters for devices. You will specify a Lock Timeout interval (length of inactivity prior to the lock) and a Lock Password (user’s bypass for the lock). You can also enter a message to appear on the device when it locks. Enabling Lock On Registration from the Global Settings enables the lock for any device upon registration. Another option is to leave this disabled and enable it as needed (for lost or stolen devices) from the Security IT Policy screen. From the Administrative Web, select User Administration and highlight a user. Select User IT Policies > Server Policies > Security and click the Lock Password button.
