•      Use Mixed Mode Authentication, as it is required for the NotifyLink SQL server.  Make note of the SA password.

•      If you are installing the Web/HTTP and/or the Messaging Component(s) on the same server as the SQL Database Component, we recommended you restrict the amount of system resources that Microsoft SQL Server uses.  You can accomplish this by adjusting the min server memory and max server memory options in SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
