Format options enable you to select the information you wish to include in the mail message notifications that are synchronized to your device via NotifyLink. There are options to include message header, recipient and attachment information.
Location: Select the General
tab, then click on the Format button.

1. Select General > Format.
2. Determine how attachments will synchronize. There are several choices.
• Send attachments.
-Check the box beside Send attachments to device
Facts about sending attachments to the device:
- Attachment Names and Sizes are automatically sent along with the attachment.
- You cannot enable Smart Retrieval, which limits message body size. (See the Control Option rules.)
- More bandwidth is used.
- Attachment support is device dependent.
• Send attachment information rather than the attachment itself.
-Leave the Send attachments to device box unchecked.
-Select which Attachment Descriptors will be sent in lieu of the attachment: Number of Attachments or Attachment Names (Attachment Size is sent automatically with either option).

Number of Attachments |
Display the number of attachments associated with the email message. Attachment Size is automatically sent with this option. |

Display the names of attachments associated with the email message, but do not send the attachment(s). Attachment Size is automatically sent with this option. |

Attachment Size |
Display the sizes of attachments. Attachment size is automatically sent if you choose Number of Attachments or Attachment Names. |
• Send no attachments and no attachment information.
-Leave the Send attachments to device box unchecked.
-Select the Send No Attachment Info option under Attachment Descriptors.
3. Check the Recipient Information you wish to include in the message notification.

Recipient Type |
-Added to an email notification if the user is listed in the Cc or Bcc field. Type is not included if the user is listed as the recipient in the To field. |

List of Recipients |
-A list, in addition to the original email notification, is sent to the device showing the email addresses of recipients in the To and Cc fields. The recipient list has a limitation of 2000 characters. |
4. Choose how you want the message body to appear. Click the Notification Body Format button at the bottom of the Format page.

Notification Size - Choose between 1000 and 30,000 characters. This allows you to limit the size of the email notifications sent to your device. The size you specify includes the header components and message body. |

MORE Command - Choose the quantity of characters you will accept with the MORE command on the device when long messages are truncated. Choose the notification size you specified or the maximum of 30,000 characters. |
