1. Select Mailbox Properties > Filters 2. Set a Default Action for messages to which no filters apply. Choose:
Hold messages that do not match any of the
filters. CAUTION: Setting the default action to “Hold” can severely limit the number of emails that are forwarded to a device, especially when there are very few send type filters. Note: If no filters exist, the default action is ignored and messages are sent to the device.

3. Manage the filters in the Current Filters list by performing one of the following actions:

Turn on a filter |
1. Check the “Filter On” box beside the filter you want to turn on. You can temporarily disable a filter by turning it off. 2. Click the Apply Changes button. |

Edit a filter |
1. Click on the filter name of the filter you wish to edit. 2. Change any of the filter’s criteria. 3. Click the Apply Changes button. |

Send as a Level 1 notification |
1. Check the “Level 1” box if you want the messages a send filter forwards to give an audible alert when it arrives. 2. Click the Apply Changes button. Note: Level 1 alerts are not supported for ActiveSync devices. |

Delete a filter |
1. Check the “Delete” box beside the filter you wish to delete. 2. Click the Apply Changes button. |
