Overview of the Client Web

The Client Web Pages

The Client Web opens to the Mailbox Properties page.  Select the tabs labeled General and PIM to access other pages.

              

Disabled Options

You may notice that one or more of the options in the Client Web are disabled (button will be gray).  This means that the properties have been set by an administrator and are not available for you to change.

Note:  Some properties may not apply to ActiveSync device users operating with the NotifyLink ActiveSync Solution.  An option button may be gray for this reason as well.  See the Device IT Policy Comparison chart for a summary of supported policies for these users.

Logging Out

The Logout button on each page allows you to exit from the Client Web.  It returns you to the Login dialog box.

 

The Client Web Options

You can customize your account on the NotifyLink server using the Client Web options.  The settings you choose determine what data gets sent to your device.  The options also allow you to change your authentication password and view device statistics.

Mailbox Properties

Accounts – Edit your user account and account credentials.

Folders – Select email folders on the server to map to your device.

Filters – Create filters to control what email synchronizes to your device.

Block List – View or delete email blocks that you have issued from your device.

Signature – Edit the signature that will append to each email you send from the device.

 

General

Format – Select the information you wish to include in mail message notifications sent to your device.

Control – Enable/disable mail and PIM processing and set mail processing and tracking options.

Device – Edit device properties and view your authentication password.

Security – Enable Message/PIM content encryption or change your authentication password.

Statistics – View email, PIM, and device statistics, such as polling cycle times and results.

 

PIM

Calendar – Enable synchronization for your calendar or set synchronization range and calendar options.

Contacts – Enable synchronization for your contacts and select Address Books for synchronization.

Tasks – Enable synchronization for your tasks or set synchronization range and task options.
