Registering NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector
NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector - PC Requirements:

Once the device application has been downloaded, run the application.
Install Device Application will install the NotifyLink Client to the Palm device.
Select User allows you to select the correct device profile you wish to use with the application.
Select Device Type allows you to select your device type.
Install Desktop Connector - installs the Desktop Connector. This installation is required for your device to communicate over the cradle with the NotifyLink Server.
Select "Install." The message box shown below will be displayed. Select "OK".
Perform a HotSync operation to synchronize the Palm Device Client with your computer to install NotifyLink Client. The device application will first be queued to install and then the desktop connector will be installed. Follow the on screen instructions to finish the NotifyLink installation.
Installing NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector
Before you can use NotifyLink, you must Install and register the NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector. Setup will begin. To install the connector use the following steps:
License Agreement - After reviewing the License Agreement, select I Agree.
Choose Components - select all of the components you wish to install. Selecting the NotifyLink Dekstop Connector is required. After you are finished with your selections, select Next.
Choose Install Location - you may specify the folder in which to install the NotifyLink Connector. Select Browse to select another Destination Folder or select Install to continue.
USB Sharing mode - if you selected to install the USB Conduit, the following screen will appear. Select the option that is applicable for your device. Select Next.
When the installation has completed, the following screen will appear. Select Finish to exit the setup. You must now Register the Desktop Palm Connector.
After the NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector has finished the installation process, the Activate NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector dialog box will appear. Note: the NotifyLink Desktop Palm Connector will not function until has been registered.
To register the connector, enter your license key in Serial Number (see screen below). If you have list this information, please contact Notify Sales.
The NotifyLink application will install a new network service to your palm device. You must configure your device to use the following Network:
Go to the Prefs application from the Palm OS home screen
Select “Network” from the dropdown list.
Change the service to NotifyLink. (Note: User Name and Password should be left blank). Installation is now complete.
